Klang-Farbe: A digital screening (files and SD tapes) of Austrian avantgarde videos curated by Michael Loebenstein

Abstract cinema is populated with the work of painters, musicians and other artists working with (or through) the medium of film to explore imaginative correspondences between music, light and sound, colour and tone. Klang-Farbe (German for "tone", but literally "Sound-Colour" ) presents contemporary examples of the vibrant abstract film movement in Austria. A digital screening (files and SD tapes) of Austrian avantgarde videos, curated by Michael Loebenstein, is presented by the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) and OtherFilm.
